1:1 Restorative Therapy Sessions Now Available at Sean Elder Therapies

In today’s fast-moving world, many of us are stuck in a cycle of doing, fixing, and pushing through. But there are times when the most therapeutic thing we can do is slow down—and listen.

We’re pleased to introduce a new offering at Sean Elder Therapies: 1:1 Restorative Therapy with Skye Kleman. These sessions are designed for those who feel physically, emotionally, or energetically depleted—and who are seeking something gentle, grounded, and deeply supportive.

What is Restorative Therapy?

1:1 Restorative Therapy is not massage in the traditional sense, and it’s not a yoga class either. It’s a therapeutic blend of:

  • Reiki energy healing to support deep rest and balance

  • Sound Therapy using a variety of sound instruments to suit the energy

  • Breath-led calming practices to regulate the nervous system

  • Gentle essential oil massage for grounding and connection

  • Intuitive movement therapy drawn from restorative and yin yoga

  • Safe, supported stillness that gives your system space to repair

Each session is fully adapted in the moment. There’s no script—just experienced, intuitive care based on what your body presents and what you need.

Who These Sessions Are For

Many of our clients ask when to choose restorative work instead of something more hands-on like deep tissue or sports massage. The answer is simple:

Choose this when your system doesn’t need more pressure—it needs permission to release.

These sessions are ideal for:

  • Clients experiencing burnout, overwhelm, or emotional fatigue

  • People in long recovery (physically or psychologically)

  • Those managing chronic stress, anxiety, or insomnia

  • Anyone feeling disconnected from their own body

  • Individuals who want to experience bodywork beyond structure and tension

Why We’re Offering This at Sean Elder Therapies

At our movement therapy and massage studio in Guardbridge (near St Andrews), we’ve built a reputation for targeted therapy, sports massage, yoga and performance-based care. But we also recognise that healing doesn’t always come from intensity.

Restorative therapy is not an add-on or afterthought—it’s part of a complete approach to health.

Skye Kleman brings her years of experience as a yoga teacher, sound therapist, and bodyworker into every session. Her work is quiet but powerful—and we believe it’s something many people need, even if they don’t yet have the words for it.

What to Expect in a Session

  • A calm, private environment in our Guardbridge studio

  • A session tailored to how you arrive that day, choose from 60 to 90mins

  • Guidance into supported postures using props and blankets

  • A combination of reiki, sound, breathwork, intuitive touch, and gentle movement

  • A chance to breathe, release, and reconnect—without needing to perform or explain

You don’t need experience. You don’t need flexibility. You don’t need to believe in anything.
Just a willingness to slow down and receive.

Bookings are through the booking schedule just like our classes and are on a first come, first serve basis with limited slots available .
